Protesters storm Muslim Brotherhood Cairo HQ, 8 killed

At least eight people were killed Monday when protestors stormed the main headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Moqattam district in eastern Cairo, according to security sources.

Protestors ransacked the building and set it on fire.

Nearly 45 people were wounded in clashes between supporters and opponents around the building.

Protesters have surrounded the Muslim Brotherhood main headquarters since Sunday, with some 150 Brotherhood members trapped inside.

The latest episode of violence brings the death toll to 12 in two days clashes between opponents and supporters of President Mohammad Morsi.
