Question
Assalam alaikum, My Wife Dlivered a baby just 2 months back..we had intercourse after 40 days of delivery without using preventive measures..my doubt is .. i heard from our religious scholar,that for 1st six months after delivery, women will not get pregnant without using any measures but i find contradict in websites ...pls confirm which is true
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The correct opinion is that there is no Sharee’ah evidence to prove that a woman cannot get pregnant during the fist sixth months after delivery; on the contrary the actual fact proves that this is possible.
