All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and messenger.

Allaah says (what means): {And they were not commanded except to worship Allaah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give Zakah. And that is the correct religion.}[Quran 98:5]

The meaning of this verse as interpreted by as-Saadi is as follows: "And they were commanded in all the divinely-revealed laws nothing other than to worship Allaah Alone, seeking His Wajh (face/favor) by their worship, turning from idolatry to faith, and keep the prayer and pay the Zakah, and this is indeed the upright and just religion, which is the religion of Islam.” [End of quote]
