Question
salam plz tell me the name of the mother of MOSSA (As)..
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
belongs to the knowledge that does not harm if one does not know it and does not entail any action if one knows it. However, we say that there are several sayings of the commentators of the Quran and the historians about the name of the mother of Moosa . Ibn Katheer said in his book Qisas Al-Anbiyaa’ (Stories of the Prophets): “As-Suhayli said, the name of the mother of Moosa is ‘Ayaarkha’, and it was said, ‘Ayaathakht’.” [End of quote]
Al-Qurtubi said in his Tafseer: “Her name was Ayaarkha, and it was said Ayaarakht as stated by As-Suhayli; and Ath-Tha’labi said: The name of the mother of Moosa was Lawha bint Haanid ibn Laawa ibn Ya‘qoob.” [End of quote]
Ibn 'Atiyyah said in Al-Muharrar Al-Wajeez: “Her name was Yoohaana.” [End of quote]
