Question
Do the jinn expose your sins if they speak in you? Shaykh, please respond to this as fast as possible, as it is an emergency, may Allah reward you. Only Allah knows my mental anguish, and I need to know this.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ʻalayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
We do not have decisive evidence in this regard.
We advise you to turn your mind and thoughts away from this matter and to seek refuge with Allah from the jinn and ask Him to forgive your sins and conceal them. You should also sincerely repent to Allah of all the sins that you have committed; hopefully, Allah, the Exalted, will relieve you from your anguish. Allah says (what means): {And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.} [Quran 24:31]
Success includes obtaining what the person aspires to and being safe from whatever he fears.
