All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.

According to the scholars of Hadeeth, a Marfoo‘ Hadeeth is one that is directly attributed to the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, including his words, acts, or explicit approval, regardless of the condition of its chain of narrators.
