Miracles of Prophet Isa in Hadith

Question

Did any of the Sahaba (Radiya Allahu Anhum) narrate Hadith from Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) about miracles of $Issa$$ (Alaihi al- Salaam), like walking on water, etc.? If there are any such Hadith please quote them. Recently, I read some Hadith regarding miracles of $Issa$$ but in that book the Hadith from which it was taken was not quoted.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Some of the Hadith that were reported from the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) about Prophet Isa (Alaihi Salaam) are as follows: Al-Bukhari and Muslim reported from Abu Hurairah (Radiya Allahu Anhu) that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "As soon as any new born comes to this life Satan strikes him and as a result she/he yells because of Satan's strike except Mary and her son" . Al-Bukhari and Muslim also reported that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "Whoever acknowledges that there is no God but Allah, The One and The Only Who has no partners, that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, that Isa (Alaihi Salaam) is the servant of Allah and His Messenger and His Word which he bestowed on Maryam and a spirit created by Him. He should also believe in Paradise and Hell. Allah will make any such person enter Paradise no matter what he did" . On the other hand, we do not know any sound Ahadith that mentions the miracles of Isa (Alaihi Salaam). But there are verses in the Qur'an that mention these miracles: He used to revive the dead, to cure the deaf and the lepers. Food was brought down to him from heaven,. …etc. All these are undeniable miracles. Allah knows best.
