Affected with Whispers about Impurity

Question

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhuMy question is regarding the water flowing out while washing clothes in washing machineI have placed dirty (or may be impure) clothes in the automatic washing machine along with deteegent.During "washing" process of the machine,i could see the water along with detergent foam overflowing from the outlet and spreading on the floor. Is this detergent containing water impure?if yes then what is the easiest method to purify the floor? If kids walked over such water n have spread it in the entire home and an adult whose feet are wet due to wudu happens to walk over the(kids stamped) dried floor to reach the prayer place then is his salah valid?I have mobbed the floor just once but after mobbing, again i saw the detergent water (a bit foamy)overflowing during "rinsing" process of automatic machine...was there a need to mob the floor again?I know the difference between dirty n impure clothes but i do not exactly remember if the clothes were dirty or they were impure...Jazakallah khair

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

It appears that you are affected with whispers. Hence, we warn you against them and against giving in to them, because giving in to them leads to a great evil.

Since you only doubt about the impurity of these clothes and you are not sure that they are impure, then in principle they are pure.

Therefore, you should act according to this principle and not ignore it unless you have absolute certainty, a certainty upon which you can swear, that they are impure.

If we presume that you have washed clothes that have become impure in the washing machine, then the water that is separated from it is ruled to be pure according to the view that we adopt here in Islamweb if it is separated without being changed by impurity.

Therefore, you are not obliged to purify it and whatever it came in contact with is not rendered impure.

Finally, we warn you again against these whispers as they are a great danger.

Allah knows best.
