assalamualykum, it is said when a men enters paradise 2 women will enter with him, what does it means? does it means his wife and hur. in paradise wont we live with our family,?men will stay with hur then what about his wife, plz expalin. allah hafiz

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Abu Hurayrah may Allaah be pleased with him narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said about men in Paradise: “Each one of them will have two wives; their marrow could be seen through their flesh [and bones] because of their beauty. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

A group of scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them stated that these two wives are from the women of this world, and not from the Hoor (women of Paradise). There is no doubt that a man’s wife is one of them, and there are some Prophetic narrations which prove that the women of this world who will enter Paradise will be more beautiful than the Hoor, but some scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them classified these Prophetic narrations as weak.

A man (of Paradise) may even be made to marry 70 Hoor or more, as stated in some Prophetic narrations.

Finally, it should be noted that the situation in Paradise is different from it in this world. In Paradise there is no jealousy between the wives like in this world.
