Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

As long as the services of the company you work in are only confined to serving the Riba-based banks, then it is not permissible for you to work there if you are not forced to do so as we have pointed out in Fatwa 127388.

As for the other work in a western country, first of all, it involves many Islamic prohibitions such as migration to such a country and living there, in addition to delaying prayers from their due times because of work and the like. Thus, it is not permissible for you to move to it or work in it. For more benefit, kindly refer to Fatwa 89666.

Accordingly, try to find a lawful work in your county that has no relationship with prohibited matters or helping in doing them. But if you have no other source to earn your living or that of those whom you are responsible for except your current job, then there is no blame on you to stay in it to the extent that you may be able to meet your necessary needs until you find a lawful job other than it; for necessity is measured in accordance with its true proportions. Allaah The Almighty says (what means): {But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allaah is Forgiving and Merciful.} [Quran 2:173]

You should know that Allaah The Almighty has stated in His Noble Book the effective solution of all distresses saying (what means): {And whoever fears Allaah - He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect.} [Quran 65:2-3]

Allaah Knows best.
