Question:

It is allowed to use sex instruments in Islam like Penis (vibrators and other sex instruments) for single woman and man?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

According to the Sharee’ah it is unlawful for the Muslim to use these instruments. Their users are contradicting the correct Fitrah (natural predisposition upon which Allah created mankind) and going beyond what Allah has made lawful to them. Allah Says (what means): {And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors} [Quran 23:5-7]

Using such instruments have very bad side affects on the person using them. It makes the person lose interest in the opposite sex and this is against the natural law of the cosmos and it can lead to disaster. Allah Says (what means): {And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - From a sperm-drop when it is emitted.} [Quran 53:45-46]

The use of vibrators and similar sexual instruments causes defects to the genital parts of their user. We advise whoever cannot marry to avoid forbidden means as they can never be a cure. We advise him/her to apply the Sharee’ah remedy to sexual desire that is fasting, lowering the gaze and abiding by what Allah has prescribed and avoiding what He has forbidden.

Allah knows best.
