assalaamu alaikum!
can you please tell me the meaning of the word "thafseela" in quran???? does it have any meaning in arabic???? i want to know the meaning of my name!
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
In Arabic language, the word Tafseela (تَفْصِيلاً) means explaining something in details (with full explanation) and this is exactly its meaning in the Quran. The saying of Allaah { وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ تَفْصِيلاً}[Quran 17:12], means that We [i.e. Allaah] have explained everything in full details which leave no option for any misunderstandings. In any case, it is permissible to be named with this name.
