Was Prophet Idrees (Alayhis Salaam) came before Prophet Noah (Alayhis Salaam)?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

Ibn Katheer stated in his book "Stories of the Prophets" that Idrees [Enoch] was the first Prophet after Aadam [Adam] and Sheath, may Allaah exalt their mention. According to this, he came before Nooh [Noah] but there is a difference of opinion on this issue among the scholars . However, there is no evidence so that we can be absolutely certain about it and there is no great benefit in investigating this matter and it does not lead to any action.
