The church is not a place for learning

Question

I live in a non-Muslim country and have a three-year old boy. I want to send him to school, but the one that is next to us is inside a church. Is it permissible for me to send him there?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alyhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

It is prohibited to send children to such schools because the evils inside such churches will ruin their nature. Thus, the child will grow up knowing no difference between the mosque, where Allaah the Almighty is worshipped alone, and the church where partners are associated with Him.

Moreover, it may cause the child’s creed and faith to be weakened and shaken.

And Allaah Knows best.
