The meaning of the supplication that is said after raising one's head from Rukoo‘

Question

Could you please let me know the meaning of the supplication that is said after a person raises their head from Rukoo’?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

It was narrated on the authority of Abu Sa‘eed Al-Khudri may Allaah be pleased with him that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to say the following supplication after raising his head from Rukoo‘: "Rabbana laka Al-Hamdu mil’ as-samaawaat wa Al-ardh wa mil’ maa baynahumaa wa mil’ ma shi’ta min shayin’ ba‘d. Ahl ath-thanaa’i wa Al-majd, ahaqqu maa qaal Al-‘abd wa kullunaa laka ‘abd. Allahumma la maani‘a limaa a‘tayt wa la mu‘tiya limaa mana‘t, wa la yanfa‘u tha Al-jaddi minka Al-jaddu. (O Allaah, all praise and all glory be to you, Your praising is the best and most true [of what] Your slave can say, we are all Your slaves. O Allaah, no one can ever preclude what You have bestowed and no one can ever provide what You have deprived, and no wealth, power or offspring can benefit their owner before you, except if they were accompanied by good deeds)." (The meaning adopted in the translated version of this Hadeeth are according to An-Nawawi's interpretation) [Muslim]

Allaah the Almighty Said (what means): {Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.}[Quran 18:46]

And Allaah Knows best.
