Two Ahadith about disturbance and devilish insinuations

Question

I have asked 2 questions previously but have not recieved an answer or a question ID. Can you please look into this matter? I have 2 new questions 1) Can you explain the meaning of the hadith in question ID 4267. 2) Has the time mentioned in the following Hadith arrived "When you behold that the affection among the people has disappeared and the sense of their trustfulness has weakened then you shall become like this - he (p.b.u.h) said this entangling his fingers among one another. At such a time; remain in your houses, take care of your souls and give up worrying about the common people.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
1-The meaning of Hadith is that the Satan tempts those companions of the Prophet to devilish insinuations such as wondering about the essence and ways of Allah and the like. They disliked these temptations and struggled hard to get rid of them. The hatred of the companions to these thoughts reached the highest degree of the hate. They felt that falling from a mountain was easier for them than disclosing these satanic temptations. At this point Prophet said: "That is the faith manifest." It means your hatred to these temptations and struggling hard to get rid of them shows strong, sound faith. It does not mean that the existence and presence of these temptations show the faith.
2-The second Hadith refers to the troubles and disturbance in which bloodshed and quarreling become widespread and people will become conceited. These things would be found in some places of the earth. It does not mean that the whole earth would be filled with these things. The Prophet said that a victorious group will remain on truth till before the Resurrection Day. Therefore, a Muslim should not make this Hadith an evidence for giving up praying Jum'a, praying in congregation, calling to Islam, enjoining virtues and forbidding evil.
The events mentioned in this Hadith have not yet appeared -at least- to our knowledge.
Allah knows best.
