Can I listen to music like melodies, not rock or pop music?

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

All kinds of music are Haram; so listening to it is forbidden because of the Hadith reported by Imam Bukhari that the Prophet said: "A time will come where people will make adultery, fornication, silk, guitars and wine lawful".
This Hadith proves that basically the mentioned matters are forbidden whether it is pop, rock, etc. but some people from this Ummah will do them anyway.
