Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

Salat al-Fajr and Salat al-Subh are two names for the same prayer. It is an obligatory prayer of two Raka'h which should be performed anytime between dawn and daybreak, i.e. just before sunrise. Its fixed time is before sunrise.
