Accepted Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Wearing yellow coloured garments is permissible for the women in general. But it becomes unlawful if the woman is to appear in front of alien men who might be tempted by such colourful garment. In this case, it is considered as the dress of adornment, which should not be exposed to alien men. Imam al-Nawawi and al-Haskafi in Dur Mukhtar mention the permissibility of using the yellow colour. Allah knows best.
