Question
I am feeling sexually attracted to my pet dog. If I act upon these feelings will I be cursed?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
Sound nature, noble character, human nature and all religions agree that there can not be any sexual relation between a human being and a dog.
Islam forbids possessing a dog with the exception of a watch dog or a hunting dog. If one keeps a dog for other than the above reasons he will get punishment for that and Allah will decrease his reward. The one who practices sex with animals is cursed by Allah and His creatures.
We ask Allah to make us steadfast on the right-path.
