Question
What was Prophet Mohamed's (pbuh) last name?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
The Prophet 
was from the tribe of Bani Abdul-Mutalib, branching from the tribe of Bani Haashim, all branching from the tribe of Quraysh. Allaah The Almighty raised him and chose him above all people in regard to his family lineage. He was Muhammad ibn 'Abdullaah ibn 'Abdulmuttalib ibn Haashim ibn 'Abdu Manaaf.
