Question
assalama alaikoum, i m a young president of a muslim association in france, in my village live few muslim but many non muslim, we try to change the wrong image of islam in this communauty, and get a mosquee, with various action, one of this action it s to help old people or disabled people to carry their food shopping,sometime including pork and alcohol, this product are forbidden for muslim, but we do this in the name of islam to get our mosquee and make muslim image better. can we follow this action, help me to find an issue it s important for us, jazakoum bil kheir for your help
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
We thank the enquiring brother for his keenness to call people to Islam and to explain its merits to non-Muslims. However, you should know that your desire to propagate Islam, does not justify committing sins and transgressing the limits of Allaah by doing things such as purchasing wine, pork and the like. This is a form of cooperation in sin and aggression. Calling towards Islam should be practiced through lawful ways and not through prohibitions. We think that a Muslim should not overdo serving non-Muslims by purchasing their requirements and the like, as this makes a Muslim appear disgraced and humiliated. Allaah commanded us to show might and honor in front of non-Muslims. Therefore, many jurists ruled that it is forbidden for a Muslim to work as a servant for a non-Muslim; to wash his clothes, clean his house and cook his food and the like, as it is a kind of disrespect and humiliation for a Muslim and honoring the non-Muslims. Allaah Says (what means): {And never will Allaah grant to the disbelievers a way over the believers.}[Quran 4:141]
On the other hand, we advise you to call to Allaah through lawful means such as conducting lectures, seminars to introduce Islam and call non Muslim to Islam and distributing books that present tolerance of Islam and that it is the only true religion which was conveyed by all the Messengers and Prophets. Moreover, good characters are the most influential means of calling people to Islam, in addition to being good in dealings, which has a great impact on those who are being called.
Finally we ask Allaah to guide you to what is good and protect you from evil and bad.
