In this part we will mention some more prohibitions that some Muslims commit which Allah forbade.

Lying on the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ):`Abdullaah Ibn `Amr Ibn Al-`Aas may Allah be pleased with them reported that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “Convey from me even an verse of the Qur'aan; relate traditions from the Children of Israel, and there is no restriction on that; but he who deliberately forges a lie against me let him have his abode in the Hell.” [Al-Bukhari]. This is a warning for those people who sit in gatherings and convey and relate narrations which are not authentic or they are unaware of their authenticity.
False oaths: ‘Abdullaah Ibn `Amr Ibn Al-`Aas may Allah be pleased with him reported that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “(Of the) major sins are: to ascribe partners to Allah, disobey parents, murder someone, and to take a false oath (intentionally)”. [Al-Bukhari].
Hidden Shirk:The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “should I not tell of that which I fear on you more than Ad-Dajjaal (i.e. the antichrist)? It is Hidden Shirk, where a man stands up to pray, then he starts to beautify his prayer (i.e. improve it) when he notices that another man is watching him”[Al-Bukhari].
The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said teaching the companions what to say when they felt such Shirk creeping into their hearts: “say: `Allahumma Innee A’oothu Bika An Oshrika Bika Wa Anaa A’lam Wa Astaghfiruka Limaa Laa A’lam` (O Allah, I take refuge in You lest I should commit Shirk knowingly and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly)”
Transgressing the limits of Allah in secret: The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “I know a type of people from my nation who will come on the Day of Judgment having rewards as huge (in size) as the mountains of Tuhaamah, but Allah will make them as dust dispersed (i.e. worthless). These are your brothers (i.e. in faith) and they pray at night (i.e. the optional night prayer) as you do, but they are a people whom when alone, they transgress the limits of Allah” Many people nowadays are like this. They travel abroad just so that they can commit evil acts like adultery or to consume intoxicants and so on.
Going to fortunetellers and soothsayer: Safiyyah, the daughter of Abu `Ubayd may Allah be pleased with them narrated on the authority of some of the wives of the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) who said: “He who goes to one who claims to tell about matters of the Unseen and believes in him, his prayers will not be accepted for forty days.” [Muslim]. He and she are obliged to pray because otherwise they would become disbelievers, yet their prayers would not be accepted by Allah and they would not be rewarded for them.
The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “Whoever goes to a fortune-teller or a soothsayer and believes him in what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad.”[Ahmad].
Abandoning changing the evil:Abu Bakr may Allah be pleased with him reported: “I have heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) saying: “When people see an oppressor but do not prevent him from (doing evil), it is likely that Allah will punish them all.” [Abu Daawood and At-Tirmithi].
Huthayfah may Allah be pleased with him reported that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “By Him in Whose Hand my life is, you either enjoin good and forbid evil, or Allah will certainly soon send His punishment to you. Then you will supplicate Him and it will not be accepted”. [At-Tirmithi].
Oppressing others:Jaabir Ibn `Abdullaah may Allah be pleased with him reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “Beware of injustice, for oppression will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection” [Muslim]
The Prophet of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) also said: “There are three persons whose supplications are never rejected: The just leader, the fasting person when he breaks his fast and the oppressed when he supplicates and whose supplication is raised above the clouds and the gates of heaven are opened for it and Allah will say, “By My Glory! I shall assist you even if it is after a while.”[At-Tirmithi].
Abu Moosaa may Allah be pleased with him reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor. But when He seizes him, He does not let him escape” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Abu Hurayrah may Allah be pleased with him reported that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “He who has done a wrong affecting his brother's honor or anything else, let him ask his forgiveness today before the time (i.e., the Day of Resurrection) when he will have neither a Deenaar nor a Dirham. If he has done some good deeds, a portion equal to his wrong doings will be subtracted from them; but if he has no good deeds, he will be burdened with the evil deeds of the one he had wronged in the same proportion”. [Al-Bukhari].
Dealing with bribes:The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “May Allah curse the one who bribes and the one who takes bribes.” [Ahmad and Abu Daawood].
Residing in the lands of the disbelievers: The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ): “I am free from the one who lives amongst the disbelievers”.
Abandoning the prayer:Abu Hurayrah may Allah be pleased with him reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “The first of man's deeds for which he will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection will be the prayer. If it is found to be perfect, he will be safe and successful; but if it is incomplete, he will be unfortunate and a loser. If any shortcoming is found in the obligatory prayer, the Glorious and Exalted Lord will command to see whether His slave has offered any voluntary prayer so that the obligatory prayer may be made up by it. Then the rest of his actions will be treated in the same manner.”[At-Tirmithi].
Buraydah may Allah be pleased with him reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “That which differentiates us from the disbelievers and hypocrites is our performance of the prayer. He who abandons it, becomes a disbeliever.” [At-Tirmithi].
Abu Ad-Dardaa' may Allah be pleased with him reported: “I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) saying: “If three men in a village or in the desert, make no arrangement for prayer in congregation, Satan must have certainly overcome them. So observe prayer in congregation, for the wolf eats up a solitary sheep that stays far from the flock.”” [Abu Daawood].
Refraining from paying the due Zakah:The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said:“Whoever is made wealthy by Allah and does not pay the Zakah of his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made into a bald-headed, poisonous, male snake with two black spots over his eyes. The snake will encircle his neck and bite his cheeks and say, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.” [Al-Bukhari].
Stealing:The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “The Curse of Allah is upon the thief who steals (even) an egg and thus his hand is amputated.”
Approaching one’s wife from her rectum: The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) said: “Allah will not look to the one who has intercourse with his wife in her rectum”.
