Gaza, your lights will never be turned off

Its lights seemed to be turned off and it is drowned in darkness; nevertheless, it illuminates the road for the Muslim Ummah (nation) as a whole, outlines the features of the upcoming victory and gives the glad tidings of the birth of a new day.

Some people may wonder about the secret behind the fierce, unprovoked, and unjustified attacks against the Gaza Strip. Here, we are not speaking about reactions: the justifications of the USA and the other parties that not only remained silent, but paved the road before this assault, and provided cover for it. [American President] Bush, who stood in Jerusalem, before dancing across the region, said, “I can understand any military operation against Gaza.” Ramallah and other areas seemed unrelated to the statements of Bush and the acts of Olmert on the ground. The more this suspicious silence continues…the more this horrible assault intensifies…
Gaza…they besieged you, but you too besieged them…
They tried to break your determination, but you broke theirs…
They wanted to make you an example of defeat, but you turned into an example of steadfastness…
They planned to assassinate your leaders and symbols, but you exposed their conspiracy….
Every day, with the gush of each martyr’s blood, you expose the conspirers including the Zionists and traitors who try to destroy this example, which symbolizes the Islamic will everywhere…
They want to make it an example, but it turned into a symbol of challenge, resistance, patience, steadfastness, dignity and honor.
Do not ask about its size because it is small, but great in importance...
Do not ask about its abilities because they are limited, but its determination is limitless…
Do not ask about its power because it is weak, but its will is strong…
Do not ask about its rockets, because they are primitive yet advanced…
It does not care for those who let it down, whether brothers or strangers, Arabs or foreigners…
It adheres to the road of dignity irrespective of all obstacles…
Can you imagine power outages…? Have you ever tried to make ablution during the cold winter using cold water? Have you ever tried to spend a night without heating? Can you imagine babies in incubators in hospitals during power cuts?
Have you ever imagined the conditions of people with kidney and heart diseases? Have you watched a mother giving artificial respiration to her son in turn with other family members? Have you ever imagined the feeling of parents who stand helpless and cannot save their children? Have you ever imagined a house and refrigerators without electricity? How will people keep food, if it is available? Have you ever imagined a father who sends his son to buy bread but he cannot find it? Have you ever imagined their patience and steadfastness under this tragedy? Have you ever imagined their feelings when they hear those who blame Hamas for the siege and consider it responsible for the suffering of the people of Gaza?
Have you ever imagined 3,900 factories closed? Have you ever imagined the suspension of all services?
Have you watched Zionist helicopters shelling civilians? Do you know what happens then, the people gather to save the wounded and as they hold the limbs of the martyrs, they say: do not weep over the loss of the martyr, because he is reborn in the sight of Allah The Almighty.
Do you not agree with me that some Arabs before Islam were more magnanimous than many Muslims today? Do you not remember Zuhayr ibn Abu Umayyah when he wore his garments, and circumambulated the House seven times after determining to revoke the document of the boycott and siege against the Prophet, sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ), and his honorable Companions in the mountain pass of Abu Taalib. He then addressed people saying, “O people of Makkah! Do you agree to eat food and wear clothes while the Banu Haashim clan are starving; neither selling nor buying? By Allah, I will not stop till this unfair oppressive document is revoked!”
Those who bet that the strength of the USA will remain forever are wrong….
Those who bet that the Palestinian people will turn against its legitimate government are wrong too…
Such people do not realize that the Muslim Palestinian people, who sacrificed everything for the sake of Allah The Exalted, will never abandon their principles to get food…
The people who lived in tents to preserve their land, will not be affected by deprivation of electricity or water….
Power cuts reflect the state of shock that afflicts the Zionist entity…
I am sure that this crisis will be dispelled and that the Zionist occupation will pay the price of its crimes…
Every Muslim must work towards lifting the siege from Gaza and supporting its people in accordance with their ability…
I do not fear for our brothers in Gaza or the destination of al-Israa’ Journey, I only fear for us if we let them down, because the Prophet, sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ), warned us seriously saying: “Anyone who lets down a Muslim in a situation that his inviolability is breached and his honor is defamed, Allah The Almighty will let him down in a situation where he wishes Him to support him. Anyone who supports a Muslim in a situation that his inviolability is breached and his honor is defamed, Allah will support him in a situation where he wishes Allah to support him.” [Ahmad in his Musnad and Abu Daawood]
