Having intercourse on ‘Eed night

Question:

Assalamu alaikum, first of all I make du aa for your great service .my Question is - One of my friend told me that it is haram or makrooh to have sex with wife on the night before eid(if tommorrow is eid festivel).I never heard about that. Is that true?is there any hadith for that? please answer me. jazakallahu hairun
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

 

We are not aware of any evidence that prohibits a man from having sexual intercourse with his wife on 'Eed eve. A man may have intercourse with his wife on this night and at all other nights provided there is no religious impediment like menses or postpartum bleeding.
