Question:

As we heard that Allah sent many prophet to the world, which most of them were sent to their people but the Holy Prophet was sent to the whole world. Looking the world today, we have more 500, 000 tribes and the prophet sents were not up to 500,000 but during the time that these prophets were sent, how did all the tribes worship Allah even when most of the prophets sent were sent to Asia Geographical Location. How would Allah judge those who did not see any prophet.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Allaah informed us in His Book that there is no nation except that Allaah sent to it a Messenger to warn them. Allaah Says (what means): {And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner.}[Quran 35:24]

However, it might be that there are among the nations to which certain Prophets were sent, some people whom the message did not reach because of any obstacle. Such people will be tested on the Day of Judgment; for more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 85624 and 86712.

However, you should know that the number of tribes who exist now is not necessarily the same number which existed at that time, and it is not necessary that a Messenger was sent to one tribe only. A Messenger might have been sent to a people who are composed of many tribes and the like.

Allaah Knows best.
