Question:

As salamu aleykum, What are the gradings of the 3 ahadith below, and in which books they are narrated anyway? Ali (ra) has narrated from our beloved Nabi (saw) that if one goes to the graveyard and recites Surah Ikhlaas 11 times, and then conveys it's reward to the deceased in the graveyard, he will earn the reward equal to the number of deceased in that graveyard Abu Hurairah (ra) has narrated from Nabi (saw) that if a person goes to the graveyard and recites Surah Fatiha, Surah Ikhlaas, Surah Takasur, and then conveys it's reward to the deceased in the graveyard, then not only will the deceased receive the rewards thereof, but they will also make recommendations for their benefactor to Allah Ta'ala. Anas bin Malik (ra) has narrated that Nabi (saw) stated that "Whomsoever enters a graveyard and recites Surah Yasin, Allah will alleviate for them (deceased) the punishment on that day, and he (the reciter) will receive the reward of the number of people in the graveyard." Abu Bakr as Siddiq (ra) one who visits his father's or mother's grave on Friday and reads Surah Yasin, Allah will forgive the one in the grave. Was salaam

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Shaykh Al-Albaani may Allaah have mercy upon him classified the first, the third and the fourth Prophetic narrations which you mentioned in the question as fabricated.

Ash-Shawkaani may Allaah have mercy upon him also stated that the fourth Prophetic narration is fabricated.

However, we have not come across the second narration in the Islamic resource books which we have at hand.

Allaah knows best.
