Wishing to have Ka’bah in Paradise

Question:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may his blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Dear Sheikh my question is regarding paradise. As a Muslim we have a wish to go to paradise with All Mighty Allah (عز و جل) permission. We wish we will enter paradise with our Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), with our family and Ummah who believed in Allah and his Messengers. My question is can we wish to build Kabah in Paradise. Can you please advise. Jazakaallahu Khaira

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Whomever Allaah The Almighty admits to Paradise, will get whatever he desires and wishes. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {They will have whatever they wish therein, and with Us is more.} [Quran 50:35]

It is most likely that the House frequently entered by angels which the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) saw on the night of Ascension on the seventh heaven is the Ka’bah for the people of Paradise because Paradise is in the seventh heaven as confirmed in the Sunnah and statements of the Companions may Allaah be pleased with them.

The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) saw seventy thousand angels entering the House in the seventh heaven every day. It is a House comparable to the Ka’bah on earth, and its sacredness in the heavens is like the sacredness of the Ka’bah on earth.

A Muslim should strive hard to obey his Lord in order to be admitted to Paradise and avoid having aspirations, which may prevent him from acting obediently and thus be deprived of entering it [because of failing to perform religious obligations and merely hoping to achieve his wishes].

Allaah Knows best.
