Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

First of all, may Allaah reward you for being keen on observing the prayers and for teaching the prayer to your husband. We also ask Him to cure your husband and make you happy with him.

We advise you to be patient with him, supplicate for him as much as possible, perform Ruqyah for him and help him to seek treatment as Allaah may cure him because Allaah is over all things competent. Allaah Says when speaking about the Prophet Ibraaheem [Abraham] may Allaah exalt his mention (what means): {And when I am ill, it is He who cures me.}[Quran 26:80]

For more benefit on Ruqyah, please refer to Fatwa 88705, and to Fatwa 83577 on being patient when afflicted.

In case he is not cured and you see that you are harmed by staying with him, then you have the right to ask for divorce and Allaah may facilitate for you another husband.

Allaah Knows best.
