Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

The Barelevi sect holds many deviant beliefs and false thoughts, and we previously elaborated on this sect in Fataawa 86577 and 87790. Therefore, you are not allowed to participate in any of their practices.

As regards living or eating Lawful food with them, and benefiting from the lawful money of your father, then this is permissible. Hence, we advise you to call them to the truth and teach them goodness with wisdom, good admonition, gentleness, kindness and piety.

However, if you do not have enough knowledge, you should seek the help of some scholars and be patient over the harm that your people may entail on you. Perhaps Allaah The Almighty will guide them through you. It was authentically narrated that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said to ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib may Allaah be pleased with him: "I swear by Allaah! If Allaah guides one man through you, it would be better for you than possessing the red camels (i.e. the most precious breed of camels)."

Allaah Knows best.
