The last Companion who died after the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam

Question:

Who is the last Companion of Prophet Muhammad (P B U H)?
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

 

If you mean the last Companion to die, it was Abu At-Tufayl ‘Aamir ibn Waathilah may Allaah be pleased with him as Imaam Muslim and other scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them asserted. ‘Aamir may Allaah be pleased with him died in 110 A.H. and some scholars said that he died before that date, as mentioned in Fat-h Al-Baari by Al-Haafith ibn Hajar may Allaah have mercy upon him.
