Question:

When is the end of the ‘Ishaa’ time? How can we know it?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alyhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen may Allaah have mercy upon him said: "The time of ‘Ishaa’ prayer ends at midnight. This is known by dividing the time between sunset and Fajr time into two halves; the first half is the end of the time of the ‘Ishaa’ prayer while the second half is not the time of any prayer but an interval between ‘Ishaa’ and Fajr."

Allaah Knows best.
