Question:

Sir what is the reality of the flower "ROSE"? was this create from the drop of tear of prophet muhammed(p.b.u.h)?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

This statement is nothing but a superstition that has no basis in Sharee'ah and this is a kind of exaggeration concerning the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) and it is an attempt by some ignorant people to describe him with some matters which the Sharee’ah did not mention anything about.

The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) does not approve such extolling as he severely warned against it; for more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 90783 and 86241.

Allaah Knows best.
