Question:

Dear Respectfully Sir, Regarding my question which is very sensitive or I need your fully attention on the same. Thanks. Question No.01/ Baby Delivery Process Is (Nazeef/Taahir) or Not? If this process is not (Nazeef/Taahir/Tayeeb) So could you please explain process of Hazrat Ali R.A Birth which Finalized in Kaaba How you explain to the same Thanks. ALLAH ATTI JAZA.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

We did not understand what you exactly meant by your question ‘Is the baby delivery process clean/pure or not?’; so if you are asking about post-partum bleeding whether it is pure or not, then the answer is that it is impure, and women in post-partum bleeding are not permitted to enter the Haraam Mosque [in Makkah] nor any other mosque.

As regards the issue of ‘Ali may Allaah be pleased with him being born inside the Ka’bah, then this is not correct. Ibn Al-Mulaqqin may Allaah have mercy upon him said in his book "Al-Badr Al-Muneer": (Notice: Hakeem (Ibn Hizaam) was born inside the Ka’bah and there was no one else known to be born inside it, as regards what was reported about ‘Ali may Allaah be pleased with him being born inside it, then this is a Dha’eef [weak] narration).

Moreover, As-Suyooti may Allaah have mercy upon him in his book "Tadreeb Ar-Raawi", classified the chain of narrators of the narration which states that ‘Ali may Allaah be pleased with him was born inside the Ka’bah as Dha’eef. So, he disagreed with the author of Al-Mustadrak (i.e. Al-Haakim may Allaah have mercy upon him) regarding this narration and emphasized that Hakeem Ibn Hizaam was the person who was born inside the Ka’bah.

Taking into account all probabilities, the issue of ‘Ali may Allaah be pleased with him being born inside the Ka’bah, if we presume that its narration was authentic, or the birth of Hakeem Ibn Hizaam inside the Ka’bah according to the other narration, then this is something that did not happen after Islam came; rather, this happened in the Pre-Islamic era of ignorance before Islam, so this does imply any Sharee'ah ruling.

Allaah Knows best.
