Prophet of the Greek

Question:

Who was the prophet who was sent to the Greeks before Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.

 

Undoubtedly, Allaah The Almighty has not created a nation except that He sent messengers to call them to Allaah and guide them to the right path. Allaah Says (what means):

·  {And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner.}[Quran 35:24]

·   {And for every people is a guide.}[Quran 13:7]

 However, we are not aware of the name of the prophet who was sent to the Greeks and his name was neither mentioned in the Quran nor in the Sunnah but there is no benefit or use in knowing his name.
