Hanafi authentic books of Hadeeth

Question:

Please name all the Hanafi authentic books of Ahadis (Plural of hadith)

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

The Hanafi jurists, just like other jurists of Ahl As-Sunnah, rely upon the famous books of the Saheeh (sound) Hadeeth, the Sunan, and the Musnad Hadeeth. This includes Saheeh Al-Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim, the Sunan of Abu Daawood, At-Tirmithi, An-Nasaa’i, and Ibn Maajah, and the Musnad of Imaam Ahmad and other such books.

They do not have specific books of Hadeeth upon which they rely in exclusion to the other jurists of Ahl As-Sunnah. But they might give greater attention to what the scholars of their own Mathhab produced of Hadeeth works, like those of Muhammad ibn Al-Hasan [Ash-Shaybaani], Abu Ja‘far At-Tahaawi, and others.

Allaah Knows best.
