Ruqyah to continue until full recovery

Question:

How can one make Sharee‘ah-approved Ruqyah? Is there a preferred time for making Ruqyah?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

We have previously mentioned the way to make Sharee‘ah-approved Ruqyah in another Fatwa.

You can make Ruqyah at any time, but it is preferable to make it in the morning or in the evening (just before or after sunset) because of what has been mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah about the virtue of reciting the Athkaar (mentionings and remembrances of Allaah) at these times of the day.

There is also no time limit for making Ruqyah. Rather, it should be made continuously until the patient has fully recovered by the will of Allaah The Almighty.

And Allaah Knows best.
