Question:

Assalam-u-Alaikum! I want to ask 2 important questions: 1) I need referenced of book or narration about this sentence of Musa (A.S) and also completing this sentence: "Prophet Musa (A.S) asked to ALLAH (S.W.T) that if I had ALLAH and You were Musa then what will you ask me?" 2) Tableegh Jamat said that if anyone perform 1 Namaz in the way of ALLAH (S.W.T) than 1 Namaz will be equivalent to 49 million.? Please give me referenced or book.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

We have not come across these two statements in any of the books of the scholars; but it is evident from their ugliness of meaning and weakness of wording that they are fabricated lies. Ibn Al-Qayyim may Allaah have mercy upon him said: “We draw attention to some general matters by which a Hadeeth is known to be fabricated, among which is: weakness and ugliness of the wording of the Hadeeth in a way that the ear ejects it and the natural instinct rejects it and the intelligent person finds its meaning ugly.” He also said: “The fabricated Ahaadeeth have a gloominess, weakness of wording and dull and reckless meanings that call out their fabrication.

Allah Knows best.
