Question:

Could you please mention the Quranic verses which signify belief in fate?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

Quranic verses that deal with different levels of belief in fate are numerous, for example Allaah the Almighty says (what means):

·        {And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.} [Quran 6:59]

·        {Do you not know that Allaah knows what is in the heaven and earth? Indeed, that is in a Record. Indeed that, for Allaah, is easy.} [Quran 22:70]

·        {Have you not considered that Allaah knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth?} [Quran 58:7]

·        {And you do not will except that Allaah wills. Indeed, Allaah is ever Knowing and Wise.} [Quran 76:30]

Allaah Knows best.
