Feeling dizzy during ghusl

Question:

Assalaamu alaykum. During the hot months, the water from the shower is so hot that the small bathroom that I use becomes humid quickly. When doing ghusl (ritual bath), I sometimes feel dizzy when this happens. Just recently, in the middle of my ghusl (which I did standing), I was dizzy and was using the wall for support when I lifted one of my feet to clean between the toes. I felt a wave of dizziness and would have fallen over so I was forced to lower my foot so that I would not fall. Does this affect the validity of my ghusl? I did not faint, but I was just dizzy. I found no answer here when I looked up dizziness during ghusl.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Performing ghusl in the circumstances that you mentioned is valid, and dizziness does not affect its validity.

Allaah knows best.
