All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
It is permissible for you to wear a garment with the words “Yahya” or a Hijri date written on it, even if what is written is the Quran, it is not forbidden to wear the garment mentioned.
An-Nawawi said in At-Tibyaan fee Aadaab Hamalat Al-Quran, “Our view is that it is disliked to inscribe the Quran and the Beautiful Names of Allah on walls and garments.”
Al-Buhooti said in Kashshaaf Al-Qinaa’, “Imaam Ahmad is of the view that it is disliked to buy a garment on which there is mention of Allah, because one sits on it and steps on it.”
Allah knows best.
