Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

You have done well by migrating with your family to the land of Islam; so, may Allah reward you and enable you to do all that is good.

As long as you can stay there and not go back to that country from which you migrated, then do so.

An-Nawawi may Allaah have mercy upon him while commenting on Saheeh Muslim, said that the Salaf (righteous predecessors) disliked going back to something they had abandoned for the Sake of Allah.

The migrant is permitted to return to his country where he migrated from if he feels he can be safe with regards to his religion and in himself.

Therefore, we advise you to endeavor to find a job and earnestly supplicate Allah to this effect, as Allah may facilitate this for you. Allah Says (what means): {And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect.} [Quran 65:2-3]

If it is hard for you to earn what is necessary for your living expenses in Muslim countries, and you hope to be safe in your religion in that non-Muslim country, then there would be no sin for you to return to it.

You should consider which is best for your children, to take them with you or to leave them. Your faith and your wife’s may be safe, but it may be that the faith of your children may not be because of the abundance of temptations there, in addition to the laws that weaken the father's authority over his children.

Allah knows best.
