Question:

My question no. 2709983 was answered by the efatwa team. Futhur to this question that medical certificate had some basic health questions. Even e.g I had ear examination before some months. I am sure the things mentioned in that certificate i do not have any problem (like lung health, eyes ear etc.). Doctors do not like to check without any reason or symptoms. Is that ok in my case . Will my degree be valid. My health is fine.Alhamdulillah.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

This matter depends on the university, its rules and regulations. If it conditions a certificate based on a real and recent medical examination from a recognized authority, then the person who wants to join this university must furnish a certificate that fulfils the requirements of the university.

In the light of the above, you know whether or not the hearing test that you had carried out before few months was considerable. The same thing applies to the degree you asked about saying “Will my degree be valid?”; as well as your knowledge that you are in good health. It is the university regulations that determines that.

Allah knows best.
