Question:

love marriage in islam...permissible

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

We do not know exactly what you mean by "love marriage". If you mean the marriage that was based on love, then the wise Sharee’ah has advised and urged those who love each other to marry. Ibn ‘Abbaas may Allaah be pleased with him narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: "The best solution for those who are in love is to marry." [Ibn Maajah]

We should point out here that a valid marriage has conditions that must be fulfilled; the most important of which are the (presence or consent of) the guardian and (presence of) two witnesses.

For more benefit on these conditions, please refer to Fatwa 83629.

We should also point out that establishing an affectionate relationship outside marriage is forbidden, as this is the practice of the people of Jaahiliyyah (Pre-Islamic Era of Ignorance), which was abrogated by Islam. Allah Says (what means): {[They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers.} [Quran 4:25]

For more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 234553 and 262180.

Allah knows best.
