Is hadeeth narrator Ismail ibn 'Ubayd ibn Abi Kareemah Al-Harrani reliable?

Question:

Assalam aalekum Is hadith narrator Ismail-bin-Ubayd-Bin-Abi-Karimah Al-Harrani is reliable?What is the opinion of hadith scholars on Ismail-bin-Ubayd-Bin-Abi-Karimah Al-Harrani.He has narrated hadith which is present in Sifatul jannah of ibne abi dunya hadith no 31
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu`alayhi wa sallam is His slave and Messenger.

The mentioned narrator is one of the narrators of Ibn Maajah may Allaah have mercy upon him which was documented by Ad-Daraqutni may Allaah have mercy upon him and Ibn Hibban may Allaah have mercy upon him also mentioned him in 'Thiqaat' (the Trustworthy).

Al-Ja'abi may Allaah have mercy upon him said about him: He narrated from Muhammad bin Salamah may Allaah have mercy upon him with reprehensible speech. Ibn Hajar may Allaah have mercy upon him mentioned this in Al-Tahdheeb, and he judged the mentioned Ismaeel in Al-Taqreeb by saying: Thiqah Yughrib (reliable, but he narrates some hadeeths singly).
