Question:

What will the status of the believing Jinn be in Paradise? How will their happiness and rewards be? Will they meet, visit and speak with the humans in Paradise?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

According to the majority of scholars who say that the jinn will enter Paradise, the status of the believing Jinn in Paradise will be the same as that of their brothers of the believing human beings.

They will be in endless blessings that have never crossed the mind or the heart of anyone.

Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.} [Quran 32:17] This verse addresses the people of Paradise as a whole (the jinn and human beings).

Furthermore, Allaah The Almighty Says (what means) Addressing the jinn and human beings: {But for he who has feared the Position of his Lord are two gardens.} [Quran 55:46]

As for the relationship between them (the believing jinn and human beings) in Paradise, the texts of the Noble Quran and the honorable Sunnah have not mentioned anything about this. Also, we have not read any opinion of our scholars explaining this issue.

The Muslim should not go beyond what is revealed concerning the unseen. In fact, were there any benefit in such thing, Allaah The Almighty Would Have Mentioned it in His Noble Quran or on the tongue of His Messenger, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.

The texts have only mentioned generally the relationships, meetings, visits and warm-hearted speech among the people of Paradise. However, they did not mention anything affirming or negating what you have asked about.

Allaah The Almighty Says (what means), describing some of the blessings of the people of Paradise: {There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected. And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allaah ]. So Allaah Conferred favor upon us and Protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire.} [Quran 52:24-27]

Allaah Knows best.
