Responsibility for situation in Afghanistan

Question:

Who is responsible for the present situation in Afghanistan?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Allaah Says (what means): {And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allaah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allaah loves those who act justly.} [Quran 49:9].

Moreover, the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: ''The example of the believers as regards their mutual love and affection is like that of a single human body. If any of its parts aches, all other parts of the body share in the sleeplessness and fever." [Al-Bukhari & Muslim].

Sahl Ibn Sa'd As-Saa'idi may Allaah be pleased with him said: "I heard the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) saying: ''The example of a believer among the believers is like the head in the body, he feels the pain of the believers as the head feels the pain of the body" [Ahmad].

Therefore, all the Muslims are responsible for the situation in Afghanistan, each according to his ability and strength. Allaah ordered the Muslims to unite, help each other, and cooperate with each other, and not allow the non-Muslims to overcome them.

We ask Allaah to guide, unite and give power to the Muslims and make them as one hand against their enemy.

Allaah Knows best.
