Muslim Woman Doesn't Wear Hijaab

Question:

I am Muslim but I don't wear Hijab; I want to, but I can't. Can you help me, please?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Dear honorable Sister, may Allah, the Great and Almighty, bless you for being concerned with Hijaab for Allah’s Sake and Pleasure. We do ask Him to double your reward and brace you on the straight path.

Allah Says (what means): {O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.} [Quran33:59]

Since you believe that Hijaab is a duty on every Muslim woman, then it becomes natural for you to put on your Hijaab although you may face some problems and vexations. But you have to put your trust in Allah, and He will make it easy for you. Allah Says (what means): {Whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.} [Quran 65:4]

In the same vein, the beloved Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “Whoever seeks Allah's pleasure by the people's wrath, Allah will suffice him from the people. And whoever seeks the people's pleasure by Allah's wrath, Allah will entrust him to the people.

Finally, we do ask Allah to grant you the best reward, suffice you and strengthen your heart. It is He Alone Who answers the supplications.

Allah knows best.
