Question:

I feel I am being bewitched by someone, kindly let me know what is the remedy to get rid of the same ? I feel these from the things happening or coming my way

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Dear Brother, We advise you not to make yourself believe that you have been bewitched. Such illusions might bring you a lot of stress. This, in turn, can disturb your whole life. We think that you should read the Quran more often, especially al-Faatihah, al-Baqarah [Quran 2], verse of al-Kursi [2:255], Chapters 213 and 214.

You should repeat these Surahs (Chapters) every morning and every afternoon. We also advise you to observe saying the morning and evening forms of Thikr (mention of Allah) along with the mention that is said when going to sleep, and the mention when getting in or leaving your home. Again, make sure to be in a state of purity (i.e. in a state of ablution) as long as you can. Supplicate Allah to protect you from all kinds of evil.

On the other hand, if you know a good and religious person, there is no harm in your letting him perform Ruqyah and make use of some recitations from the Quran and supplications from the Sunnah to help you get rid of these bad things. But it is more desirable that you read these recitations and supplications yourself upon yourself.

For more benefit on Ruqyah, please refer to Fataawa 82355, 148095, 170973, and 349963.

Allah knows best.
