Person crossing outside Sujuud area

Question:

While praying, should I stop a person from crossing me outside my Sujuud area?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
The praying person should put a Sutra (anything above the soil) in front of him or stand facing a wall or a post or other barriers so that any person who passes in front of the praying person does so outside the Sutra.
Abu said Al Khudri said that the Prophet said: "If any of you prays, he should do it behind a Sutra and get near to that Sutra". [Abu Dawood and Ibn Majah].
If the person prays using a Sutra and someone tries to pass between him and the Sutra, he should try to prevent him from doing so. As narrated in this sound Hadith: "If one of you prays to something that gets between him and the people and a person wants to pass between him and that thing, he should push him back, if he refuses to step back, he should fight him as he is but a Satan".
Allah knows best.
